Ethics and Sustainability
Specialising in remodeling unused, broken or simply unloved jewellery, removing stones and melting down the gold we create something new and unique to treasure. This method of making is very labour intensive but is much better for our environment and we just LOVE breathing new life into old jewels! Pop in to discuss the design possibilities.

The diamonds we use for our engagement rings (and all our other diamond jewellery) are from suppliers who have signed up to the Kimberely Process which ensures they have come from ethical sources and have followed the correct channels.

Our gold and silver comes from New Zealand. For special commissions we use locally sourced alluvial gold flakes, found in the Shotover and Arrow rivers, which we refine in-house.
Even our packaging is eco conscious...we have our boxes made from compostable cardboard (we’re working on the inners, suggestions welcome!) our wooden boxes are made in New Zealand from sustainably sourced Rimu and our bags are made from the waste products of stoneware and are biodegradable!

Instead of the harsh chemicals normally used for cleaning in a jewellery workshop we use greener products which are grey water safe.
